Full Swing Lessons

The main thing I have learned for years of coaching and teaching is that it's not one size fits all. I taylor my instruction to the individual. My first lesson is always an evaluation of your strenths, weaknesses and a personal interview of what YOUR goals are not mine.

I use the LAW's of golf, the only collaboration of 3 top 100 golf instructors that prescribes personalized instruction for different body types and swing types.

I use the V1 Golf app for video and

I the analysis, I go over in detail the lesson faults/fixes and any drills or recommendations. I recommend this for any recurring swing hangups that I call "controlling tendencies". Those things that just keep coming back although you know what they are you just can't seem to kick the habits!

Short Game-Chipping Pitching and Putting

Growing up in West Texas on a small 9 hole course without a driving range, if I did not want to shag my own range balls, I had to find other things to practice. That led me to become a master at the short game.

While playing college golf, our coach used to make us chip a ball in every hold on the putting green before going to play. While the other players on the team would often spend hours before getting to go play, I would be done in minutes. The method I learned from my hometown PGA Pro David Mooring. David played some on the Senior Tour and learned from teaching legend Dick Harmon.

Natural Golf

Inspired by Moe Norman, Natural Golf is a method of instruction where the golf club is swung on a single plane. By using the left arm as a pivot point that Moe called "the rod" and keeping the right forearm on the plane line, Moe said that this was the most simple way to build a repeating golf swing.

Although I am not endorsed by the Natural Golf plan, I have studied the method and use parts of it in my golf swing personally and I have to say, that it is a fairly simple way to swing a golf club repeatedly. If you have really struggled with your swing, it may be for you.
